
Sazolie College is a degree college built in the memory of Lt. Sazolie Peseyie (1914-2001) by his family. It was established under the aegis of Rüchüniü Academy of Education (RAE), named after his late granddaughter. Sazolie College and RAE, thus, birthed from this sense of undying love and respect for the departed souls.
The College has got permanent affiliation from Nagaland University. It is included under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956.
The College has been Accredited B++ with a CGPA of 2.87 by NAAC, Bangalore.
The College is situated on the prominent slopes of Mount Puliebadze, which is a part of the lofty Barail Range located at Phezhu-Jotsoma, Kohima District, Nagaland (about 5 KM. away from Kohima town), It adjoins Kohima Science College on its northern side, on the eastern side, it has a panoramic view of KohimaTown and its surrounding areas.On the southern side, it is surrounded by the magnificent and majestic Puliebadze mountain range and on the west, by a lower range of beautiful undulating mountains. The ever green, forested mountain ranges provide not only a protective wall but also a spectacular natural beauty.Situated in the midst of such a surrounding, the campus naturally has a secluded, serene and peaceful atmosphere, conducive to learning. Here, students, research scholars and teachers can devote themselves to serious and productive academic works throughout the year
